ABB IMSED01 is a sixteen-channel sequence-of-events digital input module used to acquire discrete event states for a Harmony controller.
The module uses function code 242 and the I/O expander bus; up to 63 IMSED01 modules can share a segment with one IMSET01 timing module, while NTDI01 provides field termination.
IMSED01 does not process the synchronization link itself, so replacement must preserve the companion timing architecture, input-voltage selection, channel wiring, event configuration and controller database.

ABB IMSED01 acquires sixteen discrete field inputs for timestamped event processing by the configured Harmony controller.
ABB IMSED01 supports documented 24 VDC, 48 VDC, 125 VDC or 120 VAC inputs when channels and termination hardware are configured correctly.
ABB IMSED01 does not process the synchronization link; that function belongs to the companion IMSET01 and timing hardware in the SOE architecture.
Up to 63 ABB IMSED01 modules can operate on a segment together with one IMSET01 timing module in the documented arrangement.
ABB IMSED01 uses an NTDI01 termination unit for field-input wiring.
Commission ABB IMSED01 by checking input-voltage selection, every field transition, channel polarity, debounce and SOE configuration, bus communication and chronological event reporting.
Provide the full ABB IMSED01 label, input voltage, NTDI01 and IMSET01 details, channel and timing configuration, quantity and destination.
