ABB SPAJ110 C-AA is an earth-fault protection relay in the SPAJ 110 C family. The relay measures residual current from three phase current transformers or from a core-balance current transformer and can issue an alarm, trip command or autoreclose-start signal according to the configured protection scheme.
The low-set earth-fault stage supports definite-time or inverse-time operation. The official product guide lists Normal, Very, Extremely and Long-time inverse curves, while the high-set stage operates with a definite-time characteristic.
A rear serial interface allows connection to the fibre-optic SPA bus through a supported SPA-ZC 17 or SPA-ZC 21 module. Self-supervision continuously checks relay hardware, software and the internal auxiliary-supply functions.

ABB SPAJ110 C-AA can use a residual connection from three phase current transformers or a window-type core-balance current transformer.
The low-set stage supports definite-time or Normal, Very, Extremely and Long-time inverse curves; the high-set stage uses definite-time operation.
ABB SPAJ110 C-AA has a rear serial interface and can connect to the fibre-optic SPA bus through an SPA-ZC 17 or SPA-ZC 21 module.
ABB SPAJ110 C-AA continuously monitors relay hardware, software and the auxiliary-supply module and reports permanent internal faults.
The relay family supports an 80-265 V AC/DC supply module or an 18-80 V DC supply module; verify the installed module label.
