The GE IS420YAICS1B is a YAIC Safety Analog I/O Pack for the Mark VIeS Functional Safety System. It operates with compatible STAIS2A or TBAIS1C terminal boards and provides 12 analog channels, consisting of 10 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs. Input channels support voltage and current signals, including 1–5 VDC, ±5 VDC, ±10 VDC, 0–20 mA, and ±1 mA configurations. The module uses a 16-bit A/D converter, provides 0.1% full-scale analog input accuracy, and supports Simplex or TMR architectures depending on the selected terminal board. It is IEC 61508 safety rated.
