Honeywell FC-BKM-0001 is the Battery and Keyswitch Module used in Safety Manager hardware. It combines supply supervision and battery-backed functions with the keyswitch interface required by the supported safety-system configuration.
Honeywell specifies dual 24 VDC inputs at −15% to +30%, with 20 mA maximum current from each input and approximately 7 mA typical when shared. A 5VR input accepts 5 VDC ±10% at 10 mA maximum.
The +24V_red output is rated 14–31 VDC and is continuously short-circuit proof. The documented backup cell is a SAFT LS14500CFG lithium-thionyl-chloride battery rated 3.6 V nominal and greater than 2 Ah.
Before replacing FC-BKM-0001, verify Safety Manager release, supply wiring, keyswitch wiring, battery condition and maintenance procedure. Battery handling and proof testing must follow the Honeywell safety manual and site lifecycle process.
