The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements. Separate Junction Box for Very Close Proximity to the Unit: When the unit's junction box is directly fixed to the outside of the probe mounting hole, the probe lead only needs to travel a very short distance to enter the junction box and connect to the extension cable. This design greatly reduces the length of exposed cable on the outside of the unit, preventing cable damage due to high temperatures on the unit surface or mechanical scratches.

Strict Electromagnetic Interference Protection: By shortening the unshielded individual probe cable and bringing the ClickLoc connector and thick-shielded extension cable as close to the measurement point as possible, it helps improve signal noise immunity in high-interference electromagnetic environments.

Avoid Dead Zone: Because it is -00 (0 inches without threads), this means that the entire 30.5 mm housing is threaded with 3/8-24 UNF threads.

Application Reminder: This short housing probe is typically used with external mounting brackets or thinner bearing housing walls. If the mounting hole (sleeve) depth exceeds 30 mm, the probe will be screwed entirely into the hole, making it impossible to secure the rear cable with a wrench. If your machine housing is thick, you should choose a model with a longer housing such as -15 (1.5 inches) or -20 (2.0 inches).
