Technical Specifications

The 3300 XL 8 mm Proximity Transducer System provides an output voltage that is directly proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface and can measure both static (position) and dynamic (vibration) values. The system’s primary applications are vibration and position measurements on fluid-film bearing machines, as well as Keyphasor reference and speed measurements.

Standard Target Material: The sensitivity standard of this system is based on AISI 4140 steel (low-alloy high-strength steel). If your machine journal uses other materials (such as stainless steel or 17-4 PH), the measurement results may have physical deviations, requiring special calibration at the system or preamplifier side.

Oil Diffusion Prevention: The standard cable already has strong mechanical protection capabilities. If it is immersed in machine oil or hydraulic oil for a long period of time, attention should be paid to the waterproof and oil-proof sealing of the joints. If necessary, the joints can be wrapped with the original silicone tape.
