ABB CI840 EXC3BSE022457R1 is a PROFIBUS communication interface module for the ABB S800 I/O system. The CI840 Exchange module uses PROFIBUS-DP-V1 communication to provide reliable data exchange between the control system and S800 I/O modules.The CI840 supports line redundancy and module redundancy, as well as hot configuration in run, I/O status monitoring, OSP handling and HART pass-through.
