Honeywell CIU888 is a tank-gauging communication interface that consolidates field-gauge data and presents it to inventory, terminal and host applications.
The gateway supports Ethernet and serial host connections together with Enraf gauge protocols, and can serve up to eighty single-gauge tanks or forty dual-gauge tanks.
Before replacement, export the installed CIU configuration and record gauge addresses, tank database, host protocols, IP and serial settings, redundancy, option cards, alarms, power and application interfaces.

Honeywell CIU888 collects tank-gauge data and converts it into supported Ethernet or serial protocols for inventory and terminal applications.
Honeywell CIU888 supports up to 80 tanks with one gauge per tank or up to 40 tanks when two gauges are used per tank.
Honeywell CIU888 supports Modbus TCP/IP, OPC UA TCP, serial Modbus and compatible CIU858 or CIU880 emulation modes.
Honeywell CIU888 supports Enraf BPM and TRL/2 gauge communications through the configured interface hardware.
Back up the tank database, gauge addresses, host mapping, IP settings, serial parameters, option-card setup, alarms and security configuration from Honeywell CIU888.
Commission Honeywell CIU888 by validating every gauge path, tank value, host register map, time and alarm function, redundancy behavior and application connection.
Provide the Honeywell CIU888 nameplate, option cards, power input, protocol and tank count, software revision, quantity and destination.
Send the complete CIU888 catalog number, revision, quantity, destination and nameplate photo. Identification details will be checked before quotation.
