The 990 Vibration Transmitter is intended primarily for the original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) of centrifugal air compressors or small pumps, motors, or fans who prefer to provide a simple 4 to 20 mA proportional vibration signal as the input to their machinery control system. The transmitter is a two-wire, loop-powered device that accepts input from our 3300 NSv proximity probe and its matching extension cable (available in 5 m and 7 m system length options).

Dynamic Waveform Output (PROX OUT): The panel still provides a BNC interface and terminals, outputting a raw vibration waveform signal of 200 mV/mil, facilitating connection to the Bentley 2020 or other portable data acquisition instruments for on-site spectrum analysis.

Failure Lockout Protection (< 3.6 mA): In the event of probe disconnection, short circuit, or sensor failure, the output current will be forcibly reduced to below 3.6 mA. The PLC/DCS will recognize this signal as "Channel Fault (Not OK)," preventing accidental machine tripping.

Large Vibration Range Design: With the range expanded to 200 µm pp, this model is more suitable for small to medium-sized rotating machinery (such as medium-sized fans, pumps, motors, or small turbines) with slightly larger operating swing amplitudes or higher tolerance for vibration amplitude.

System Length Matching: When purchasing, it is essential to confirm whether the middle XX is 50 (5-meter system) or 70 (7-meter system). The transmitter system length must strictly match the total length of the "probe cable + extension cable" actually used in the field; otherwise, it will lead to serious measurement inaccuracies.

Area Safety Restrictions: Due to the suffix "00" (no certification), this spare part must not be directly installed in explosion-proof hazardous areas (Zone 0 / Zone 1 / Zone 2) containing flammable gases or dust. If the site environment requires explosion protection, a model with explosion-proof certification ending in CN, 05, or 01 must be purchased.
