+86 15359408275505 Digital Governor for Steam Turbines, 180–264 Vac · Woodward 505 Control Series
Woodward 9907-162 is the 180–264 Vac version of the 505 microprocessor-based digital governor for steam turbines with single or dual split-range actuators. The field-programmable controller can be configured for generator or mechanical-drive applications.
Woodward 9907-162 integrates the turbine controller and operator control panel in one package. Its two-line, 24-character display and 30-key keypad support configuration, online adjustment and operation from turbine start-up through controlled shutdown.
The 505 control provides speed/load, auxiliary and cascade control functions, valve limiting, critical-speed avoidance, automatic start sequencing and first-out trip indication. Six programmable analog inputs, sixteen contact inputs, two actuator outputs, six 4–20 mA outputs and eight Form-C relays support application-specific turbine control logic.
Woodward 9907-162 can communicate with a plant distributed control system through two Modbus ports using ASCII or RTU over RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, or through hardwired signals. Confirm the 180–264 Vac supply, actuator arrangement, speed sensors, field wiring, configuration file and independent overspeed protection before commissioning or replacement.

Woodward 9907-162 is the 180–264 Vac version of the field-programmable 505 Digital Governor for single or dual split-range actuator steam turbines in generator or mechanical-drive applications.
Woodward 9907-162 is the HVAC version and requires 180–264 Vac input power. Verify the nameplate, protective earth, disconnect device, fuse and site supply before installation.
Woodward 9907-162 controls non-extraction steam turbines using one actuator or dual split-range actuators. Extraction-turbine applications require the appropriate 505E control rather than assuming interchangeability.
Woodward 9907-162 provides speed/load, auxiliary and cascade PID functions, valve limiting, critical-speed avoidance, automatic start sequencing, controlled shutdown and first-out trip indication when correctly configured.
Woodward 9907-162 includes two configurable speed inputs, six programmable analog inputs, sixteen contact inputs, two actuator outputs, six 4–20 mA outputs and eight Form-C relays.
Woodward 9907-162 provides two Modbus ports supporting ASCII or RTU over RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485, while hardwired interfaces remain available. Match protocol, wiring and settings.
Woodward 9907-162 uses Program Mode for application configuration, Run Mode for normal turbine operation and Service Mode for approved online adjustments. Preserve and verify all site-specific settings.
Before installing Woodward 9907-162, isolate power, verify 180–264 Vac supply and protective earth, follow hazardous-location wiring rules where applicable, and confirm sensors, actuators, relays and shielding.
Provide the complete Woodward 9907-162 nameplate, revision, serial number, supply, turbine and actuator arrangement, speed-sensor type, communication settings, configuration records, certifications, quantity and destination.
Send the complete model, part number, revision, quantity, destination and nameplate photo. We will verify identification details before confirming availability and lead time.
