This Bulletin 1746 supply mounts in an SLC 500 chassis and converts the plant AC source into the regulated backplane power used by the processor and installed I/O modules.
The supply also provides an isolated, non-fused 24 VDC user output, while the 5 VDC backplane, 24 VDC backplane and user-output loading must remain within the published 70 W combined limit.

It supplies up to 10.0 A at 5 VDC and 2.88 A at 24 VDC within the combined output-power limit.
It provides an isolated, non-fused 1 A user output operating from 20.4 to 27.6 VDC.
The specified hold-up is 20 ms at full load and up to 3000 ms at no load.
Rockwell Automation discontinued this supply on September 30, 2024 and lists no planned direct replacement.
