ABB ICSO08R1 is a Binary Relay Output Module for Procontic CS31 applications. The selected 24 VDC order number is FPR3312101R1012, and the complete model and order identity must remain traceable to the installed configuration.
Key technical identifiers for engineering review include Relay outputs: 8; Contact rating: 2 A per output; Total output current: 16 A maximum; Output isolation: 1500 VAC; Minimum load: 12 V / 10 mA. Check these values against field wiring, the ECZ base, CS31 addressing, project drawings and the current asset record before replacement.
For commissioning and maintenance, follow the approved isolation, inspection and test procedure. Record point checks, configuration, wiring condition and observed system response. For MRO procurement, provide a clear nameplate photo, required quantity, destination, urgency and revision restrictions, and distinguish new, surplus and refurbished condition.

Procontic CS31 is a legacy ABB automation platform. Confirm the complete installed configuration before replacement or migration.
AC-1 applies to mainly resistive loads, while AC-3 represents motor duty with higher switching stress. Use the published 2 A AC-1 and 1 A AC-3 limits.
Lamps, contactors and capacitive devices can produce a high initial current that accelerates contact wear or welding. Verify peak and repetitive switching duty.
Coordinate branch fusing or circuit protection with conductor size, load characteristics and relay-contact ratings according to the approved electrical design.
Confirm that the internal varistor and any external coil suppressor are compatible with the load voltage and release-time requirements; avoid unreviewed parallel suppression.
Loads below the documented 12 V / 10 mA minimum may not provide sufficient wetting current to maintain dependable contact behavior.
The load remains energized after the output command is removed and wiring checks pass. Isolate safely and verify contact continuity before module replacement.
Add the simultaneous current of all eight outputs, including duty assumptions and derating. No individual channel may exceed its own rating.
Operate every relay repeatedly with a representative protected load, measure contact behavior, inspect isolation and document results against FPR3312101R1012.
Send the model, complete part number, quantity, destination and nameplate photo. We will verify identification details before confirming availability and lead time.
