ABB NIMF02 is a Multi-Function Controller Termination Module for INFI 90 / Network 90. It supports installed control and maintenance strategies where the exact module identity and approved configuration must remain traceable.
Engineering review should use the published technical identifiers together with the installed revision, rack or termination arrangement, connector mapping, power rails, communication or signal configuration and current site drawings. Similar Bailey or Symphony designations must not be treated as interchangeable without an application-level comparison.
For commissioning and MRO control, isolate the affected equipment, record the pre-change state, inspect connectors and labels, reproduce only approved settings, complete functional tests and update the asset record. Procurement should require clear nameplate photographs, condition disclosure and unit traceability.

NIMF02 is installed-base automation hardware. Confirm the complete system, power, interface and revision details before replacement or migration.
Document device, wiring, baud parameters and DCE/DTE role for each port.
Verify the installed IMMFC03, IMMFC04 or IMMFC05 and its revision.
It provides the serial interface for the associated control-station arrangement.
Use 160 mA maximum including the 10 mA indicator load.
PVC is 80 deg C at 300 V; non-PVC PLTC is 90 deg C at 300 V.
Verify both serial channels, station link, indicator and stable current.
Port damage and bent contacts may not appear in a faceplate image.
Update controller association, port map, cables, revision, serial and test results.
