The 3500/94 VGA Display uses a standard color VGA monitor with “Touch Screen” technology to display 3500 data. This product has two components, the 3500/94 VGA module and its I/O card, and secondly, the VGA display monitor. The display monitor, with standard cabling, can be mounted up to 8 m (25 ft) from the rack.

Local Visualization Center: The module reads data in real time from all installed monitoring modules (such as vibration, temperature, displacement, and speed) on the 3500 frame backplane and translates complex machine signals into a graphical and digital interface for the operator.
Independent Component Architecture: This field display system consists of three parts: the 145988-01 front-end main module, the corresponding back-end I/O module, and an external 10-inch or 15-inch industrial-grade VGA touchscreen monitor (such as an Advantech monitor).
Field Replacement and Maintenance Precautions
Hot-Swap Safety: Since the 3500/94 operates independently of the protection logic, it can be hot-swapped without bypassing the unit. After installation, the display may remain blank for several seconds while the module initializes and synchronizes, which is normal.
Tighten D-sub and Serial Touch Cables: The rear I/O cables transmit video and touch data. After rack maintenance or motherboard replacement, securely tighten the VGA and RS232 connector screws. A loose RS232 cable may cause the display to work while the touchscreen remains unresponsive.
Touchscreen Calibration: After replacing the 145988-01 display module, touch alignment may shift. Open the touchscreen startup menu and run the built-in Touch Calibration function to recalibrate the four screen corners.
