Hitachi EH-PT4 is a four-channel temperature input module for the HIDIC EH-150 PLC family. It converts Pt100 or Pt1000 resistance-temperature signals into signed 15-bit values for the application program.
The module supports -20 to +40°C and -50 to +400°C measurement ranges using a 2 mA constant-current method. All four values are converted in approximately one second, and the input circuitry is photocoupler-isolated from the internal circuit.
Installation requires the documented three-wire RTD terminal arrangement and an external 24 VDC supply. Confirm sensor type, lead resistance, channel range, open-wire behavior and program scaling before replacement.

Hitachi EH-PT4 accepts Pt100 and Pt1000 platinum resistance sensors, with the sensor type and temperature range configured to match the installed field element.
Hitachi EH-PT4 provides four RTD input channels and converts the four values in approximately one second.
Hitachi EH-PT4 represents temperature-conversion data as signed 15-bit values, so the PLC program must use the documented data format and scaling.
Hitachi EH-PT4 uses photocoupler isolation between the measured values and the internal circuit, but the individual input channels are not isolated from one another.
Hitachi EH-PT4 requires an external 24 VDC supply and also consumes current from the internal 5 VDC backplane, so both power budgets must be checked.
Replacing Hitachi EH-PT4 requires confirmation of the Pt100 or Pt1000 sensor, three-wire terminal assignment, shield practice, 24 VDC polarity and channel range.
Provide the Hitachi EH-PT4 nameplate, EH-150 base configuration, sensor type, measuring range, wiring diagram, quantity, condition requirement and destination.
Send the complete model, revision, quantity, destination and nameplate photo so the exact hardware identity can be checked.
