+86 15359408275Legacy LCN Node Processor Board - Honeywell TDC 3000 and TotalPlant Network LCN
Honeywell K2LCN-8 is a legacy Local Control Network node processor board used in compatible TDC 3000 and TotalPlant Network hardware. The board provides node-level processing within the installed LCN architecture and must be matched to the original chassis, backplane and companion interface boards.
For Honeywell K2LCN-8 replacement work, the complete board label is essential because K2LCN assemblies can differ by memory configuration and hardware number. Record the assembly number, node address setting, rack position, connected boards and current operating status before removing the installed unit.
Honeywell's current Experion LCN technical guidance states that installed K2LCN boards must be upgraded to K4LCN hardware before an ELCN migration. This migration requirement is separate from like-for-like maintenance of an existing coaxial LCN node and should be evaluated with the site modernization plan.
Installation should follow the approved node shutdown, electrostatic-discharge and restart procedure. After fitting Honeywell K2LCN-8, verify address settings, self-test indications, node loading, LCN communication and application availability before returning the node to service.
