Triconex 4351A is a copper-Ethernet Tricon Communication Module for Tricon version 10.1 and later compatible configurations. It provides four RS-232/RS-485 serial ports using DB9 connectors and two 10/100Base-T Ethernet ports using RJ45 connectors. The A suffix determines the supported feature and mixing rules.
Serial communication supports up to 115.2 kbps per port and 460.8 kbps in aggregate. Port 1 can serve the documented GPS function, while port 4 can serve TriStation according to configuration. Network functions include TSAA UDP/IP, Modbus TCP, SNTP and peer communication, subject to the manufacturer port and version matrix.
Record protocol roles, network addresses, serial settings and the installed TCM population before replacement. 4351A does not provide the embedded OPC server of other TCM models or the TSAA IP multicast feature listed for B variants.
