1756-EN2T is a chassis-mounted industrial Ethernet communication module that exchanges controller, I/O, HMI and message traffic through two copper network ports.
Supported firmware and controller combinations allow high packet rates and integrated-motion connections, while actual capacity depends on message size, chassis resources and configured network load.
Before replacement, record firmware, controller and engineering versions, IP settings, network topology, connection load, time-synchronization and motion use, chassis slot and module-keying policy.

1756-EN2T bridges a compatible controller chassis to an industrial Ethernet network for I/O, HMI, message and supported motion traffic.
1756-EN2T provides two copper Ethernet ports that operate as part of the module network interface and must be cabled for the approved topology.
The packet capacity of 1756-EN2T depends on firmware, controller generation, packet size, I/O connections, message traffic and enabled network services.
The USB port on 1756-EN2T is intended only for temporary local programming, with a cable no longer than 3.0 metres and no hubs.
Record the IP settings, firmware, chassis slot, module keying, controller project, connection count, topology, time synchronization and motion use before replacing 1756-EN2T.
Another 1756 network module is not a direct substitute for 1756-EN2T unless ports, firmware, capacity, controller compatibility and topology requirements are equivalent.
