ABB RDNA-01 is a DeviceNet adapter module that links a compatible ABB drive with a DeviceNet network. It transfers control commands, speed or torque references, status words and selected process values through the configured drive profile.
The adapter is commissioned as part of the complete DeviceNet installation, including node addressing, network baud rate, I/O assembly selection and drive parameter mapping. The controller configuration and EDS definition must agree with the installed hardware.
For replacement, preserve the original network settings, connector arrangement, drive option-slot position and parameter mapping. Confirm the drive model and firmware against the ABB manual before energizing the RDNA-01.
