ABB RPBA-01 is a PROFIBUS DP adapter module for integrating a compatible ABB drive with a PROFIBUS control system. It supports cyclic transfer of drive commands, references, status information and actual values, with parameter access determined by the selected profile.
The adapter installs in the drive option slot. Rotary switches set the node address from 00 to 99, and an on-board DIP switch controls bus termination at the end of a PROFIBUS segment.
The controller telegram or PPO selection, drive profile, node address, baud-rate detection, GSD configuration and termination must all match the installed network before operation is validated.

ABB RPBA-01 supports PROFIBUS DP communication for cyclic drive control, status and parameter access. Confirm the project architecture, companion modules and remote-end equipment before replacement.
