Triconex 3636R provides 32 non-commoned, normally open relay outputs. Although the module receives and votes commands from three system channels, the relay outputs themselves are non-triplicated. The manufacturer identifies this relay-output class for noncritical duties such as annunciator panels.
Each contact has a maximum rating of 125 VAC or VDC and 2 A, with a minimum load of 10 mA at 5 VDC. Load type, inrush and the published switching-life limits matter independently of the steady-state current. The 3636R minimum point isolation is 1500 VDC.
A full 32-point circuit uses two 16-point 9668-110 termination panels with the correct point labels and cables. Record the primary and spare arrangement and test actual contact operation, fuses and annunciation behavior. Do not characterize this non-triplicated relay stage as a TMR final shutdown output.
