ABB FSCA-01 is an RS-485 fieldbus adapter that connects supported ABB drives to a Modbus RTU serial network.
The module supports common single- and multiple-register read and write functions for drive control, references, status and parameter access when the drive profile and register map are configured correctly.
Before replacement, back up the drive and fieldbus settings and verify the exact drive family and firmware, adapter slot, RS-485 polarity and shield, node address, baud, parity, timeout, termination and master register map.

ABB FSCA-01 connects a compatible ABB drive to an RS-485 Modbus RTU network for configured control, reference, status and parameter data.
ABB FSCA-01 is listed for ACS580, ACH580, ACQ580, ACS880, DCS880 and DCT880 drives, subject to drive firmware and slot compatibility.
ABB FSCA-01 supports common single- and multiple-register read and write functions defined by its drive communication profile and register map.
Preserve the node address, baud rate, parity, stop bits, timeout, drive profile, data mapping and fault behavior used by ABB FSCA-01.
Another RS-485 adapter cannot replace ABB FSCA-01 unless drive-slot compatibility, protocol profile, register map, firmware and network wiring are approved.
Commission ABB FSCA-01 by checking RS-485 polarity and termination, master polling, command and reference transfer, status words, parameters, diagnostics and communication-loss response.
Provide the full ABB FSCA-01 and drive nameplates, drive firmware, network settings and wiring photos, quantity and destination.
Send the complete FSCA-01 catalog number, revision, quantity, destination and nameplate photo. Identification details will be checked before quotation.
