Triconex DI 3301 is a 32-point 24 VDC digital input module for the Trident safety platform. Each field input is processed through three independent channels so the system can compare input state and maintain diagnostic coverage.
The 3301 uses commoned field inputs and provides front-panel indications for PASS, FAULT, ACTIVE and FIELD POWER status together with channel LEDs. The documented Trident architecture supports a hot-spare module arrangement when configured correctly.
Before replacement, verify the chassis position, module revision, field common, input thresholds, termination assembly and project channel map. Confirm every channel and the required safety response after installation.

Triconex DI 3301 acquires 32 commoned 24 VDC digital field inputs and presents their states to the Trident safety application through three independent channels.
DI 3301 provides 32 field input points, with each input processed through the module's triplicated channel architecture.
DI 3301 provides PASS, FAULT, ACTIVE and FIELD POWER indicators plus channel-status LEDs for operational and diagnostic checks.
The documented Trident architecture supports a hot-spare arrangement for DI 3301 when the chassis, slot and system configuration are prepared for it.
Verify the exact module revision, chassis and slot, 24 VDC field common, termination assembly, channel map and Trident project configuration.
Test each field input, confirm the corresponding channel indication and application state, review diagnostics and complete the approved safety functional test.
