Triconex 8312 is a 230 VAC power module for supported Tricon main, expansion and remote extender chassis. The module converts plant AC input into regulated backplane power for processor, communication and I/O modules.
Historical Tricon planning documentation lists an input range of 185–285 VAC at 47–63 Hz, 175 W output capacity and a regulated 6.5 VDC backplane output rated up to 27 A at 60 °C.
Tricon chassis can use redundant power modules so a single supply fault does not require an immediate system shutdown. Replacement must match the 230 VAC variant, chassis generation, connector and redundancy arrangement; do not substitute a different input-voltage model.
